Whether encouraging better health and wellness practices, delivering music experiences for both consumers and professionals, designing next generation console gaming experiences, or crafting innovation strategy at some of the top design firms in the world – I’ve always been passionate about making peoples lives easier, healthier, more informed, and way more fun. I believe that insights, understanding, and values can empower teams and organizations to deliver exceptional experiences and promote meaningful relationships within their communities.

My other passions include promoting positive social impact at a grassroots level, supporting carbon-reduction initiatives, the practice of sound design, and riding bicycles.

2015 – 2016

Fitbit

Design & UX Management

Led strategic design initiatives with the platform integration (aka Cornerstone) team. Partnered with stakeholders to develop and refine new feature sets, product, and marketing initiatives. Oversight of product onboarding, device settings, and user experience mobile integration for 10+ devices across the Fitbit iOS, Android, and desktop apps. Led iterative design process and helped operationalize prototyping and user research efforts.

2013 – 2015

Beatport

Product Design Lead

Designed professional music production and library management tools, and provided end-to-end user experience, research, visual design, marketing, and more. Launched the Beatport Pro app and continued to refine and enhance feature sets post-launch. Built extensive online information guide and contributed design work to the Beatport website.

2012 – 2013

Logitech

Principal UX Designer

Led experience design for networked home audio devices and connected mobile application that integrated over 30 popular music streaming services. Led engagements with several external firms.

2008 – 2010

Frog Design

Senior Interaction Designer

Worked with clients such as Microsoft, AT&T, and others on a range of projects from experimental touch interaction to mobile marketplace. Started an experimental multitouch interaction lab with a small group of colleagues. Created solutions with our clients driven by user insight and behavior and utilizing design methodologies, behavioral modeling, and research combined with existing and emerging technologies to identify and explore opportunities for innovation. Led experimental touch interaction design programs in two studios.

2007 – 2008

Amazon

Senior UX Designer

Helped launch the Amazon Payments division and ship 3 premiere products/services. Worked across teams and disciplines to create a detailed vision for the product portfolio, and improve methodologies that pre-dated my involvement with the organization.

2004 – 2007

Microsoft Xbox

User Experience Program Manager

Member of the core team that created the Xbox 360 experience providing design and program management across the product portfolio. Launched 6 Xbox products, 5 major console software updates, and contributed to design research, prototyping efforts, production workflow, stealth projects, and more.

Mitglied at Genossenschaft für Urbane Kreativität

I joined this urban regeneration project in early 2019 and partnered with entrepreneurs, creators and supporters to facilitate a sustainable community development along the Spree river for the people of Berlin to come together.


 

Co-Founder at Action for Civil Rights & Liberties

Co-organized fundraising events for organizations like The Center for Gender & Refugee Studies, Unlocal, and Reporters Committee all of whom support human rights and civil liberties in the United States of America.
